When plotting your storyline, start with the main event. Another lovely teacup I have invested in - ahem. I’ve decided to only collect tea cups made in my home town of Stoke on Trent the Potteries and this one is a beauty if I do say so myself. _______ I have also signed my publishing contract for my first self published book - Smailholm. I am going with a hybrid style publisher in the UK called Matador part of @troubador_publishing. So I will still be an #indie I’m just given a helping hand in getting into bookshops in the UK as they already have a book distribution network and lots of experience. I have to say it is not for the faint hearted and I’m already hitting hurdles I didn’t expect like how to make any damn money out of it! However it’s all a learning experience and if I can get an actual book out there I will be proud of just that alone. It will be available for distribution internationally and I hope some of you lovely people might purchase a copy direct from me. I have lots of exciting plans so I hope you will join me on my journey into the land of #selfpublishing and beyond. I would have loved to have been picked up by an agent but it wasn’t to be and tide and time wait for no one.
