We kicked off the season of giving and fundraising by donating our playing fees to Indy Contra, the non-profit dance community that I president of. On December 9th, we will play for Arts For A Purpose, the non-profit organization she runs. This Tuesday is Giving Tuesday - an international day of giving. I hope you will consider Indy Contra as a non-profit organization that you can financially support. Every week at contra, we love having live music, callers, sound engineers, and a beautiful hall and sound equipment. This makes us unique among all of the other partner dances in Indianapolis. However, dance admission can't cover all of the weekly operating budget. On average, it takes $265 to put on our weekly contra dance. This does not include any yearly expenses that come up. Indy Contra can take donations through check, cash, paypal (through our email address ITMDGpp (at) gmail.com, or credit card at the dance.
