Who would be interested in an Instameet at Milang on the 3/8/19? I am a little hooked on hosting and organizing these Instagram meets. I love getting together with other creatives and having a good time. Watching others create, talking to people about different ideas and then watching them come to light. Milang is a great little spot for sunset and Astrophotography (Weather dependent). Friday 2nd is a new moon, which means the Saturday evening will be ideal for Astro. My thoughts are that there are several different spots all nearby to shoot sunset and then we can use those same locations to shoot the stars/light painting. I will pretty much be there anyway and figured if there is enough interest then let's organize a meetup! It is a bit of a drive out of the CBD, however, it is a nice drive. My drone has fast become my favourite photographic accessory. Now you might be thinking that the main reason is due to being able to capture unique views from above. Yes, this is a reason why I love the drone and always aim to have it with me. Since stumbling across the @lumecube lights and mounts for the Mavic Pro 2, these have added a whole new dimension of experimentation and creativity. To date, I have shared a few different images. Firstly the single circle above a subject. The effect this creates is simple yet powerful, as you can see in this image, it lights up the foreground to bring out the texture and light it up. I have shared some images, where I slowly raise the drone above a subject to create a spiral effect. I aim to play around with this a little more and post some interesting images. There is another layer of complexity and creativity I plan to bring to this page. I still need to perfect the style and look that I want to achieve.
