Наконец и мы с @alla.oborina дошли до выставки И.Е. Репина кто ещё не был всем очень рекомендую, замечательная выставка, есть что посмотреть и самое главное почитать и послушать! На мой взгляд И.Е. Репину особенно удавались портреты и конечно его масштабные работы, такие как «Заседание государственного совета», «Приём волостных старшин Александром III во дворе Петровского дворца» - эта картина производит неизгладимое впечатление, фигура царя сразу привлекает к себе взгляд - столько в ней величия и достоинства, а свет - лучи солнца словно окутывают и возвышают Александра над остальными; и по-своему необыкновенная для меня картина - «Мужичок из робких» - наполненная душевностью, кротостью и смирением простого и многострадального русского народа.... #instaculture#instapic#instaphoto#instalike#instalove#likeforlikes#instaphoto#instagood#instabeauty#culture#репин

It’s a slippery, and sometimes convoluted world we live in these days. Nothing personifies that for me more than Instagram. How many of us had extensive PR training? How many of us have lived perfect lives? How many of us really understand how much of an impact our words and images can have? I would say very few to none of us. Technically, guys, I probably am supposed to be posting every day, or just more often than I do. After all, I do portrait photography as my little side business. I want to get to the level where I can sell landscapes. Instagram is the perfect platform for me to market myself as a small business. If I want more exposure I should be posting, posting, posting. But I can’t bring myself to do it. I’m so cautious. This Instagram is still mine, and it still contains my personal thoughts, MY image. What’s the point of posting if I’m not adding something edifying, something that can help make my corner of the world a brighter place? Does money matter over these goals? I would say not. I want people to know me. I don’t want them to have any illusions about my life. I don’t want to be guilty of posting a “highlight reel.” But do I want the public to know EVERYTHING either? No. I don’t feel the need to be judged on my problems and insecurities. I don’t want sympathy. My time with my family and friends is MY personal business and it’s precious. Just for me. My hope is that these photos and these thoughts lead people to think. To lift others. And I hope that tonight we can all remember to be kind to each other. 99% of us don’t have a PR rep. 100% of us are human. 100% of us are learning. Be kind. See the good. BE the good. And remember—this box you’re holding in your hands won’t matter when you’re sitting in a retirement home. When you’re alone. What matters is your memories, your friends, and family.
