Been wanting to try out the roll control and I felt like this project with @savb1st was the perfect fit for it. How “sick” are we fit the vertigo type of feel I wanted for this. I shot a ton of detailed shots not shown in this but always remember when shooting that you’re shooting TO EDIT. My shots may not be perfect throughout the whole take but as I’m shooting I know exactly which parts of my footage I’m going to use and that’s how I determine if I got the shot or not. Don’t be scared to shoot handheld just go for it and improvise, it allows more room for creativity ‍ Let the ronin/ tripod rest sometimes #tukesproductions

Here’s some BTS from the car video I shot for @gwenro. All shot in slog2 for best dynamic range, the base ISO is 2000 in slog2 on the FS700. Zebras set to 100 but I push a little over that since I can’t set it to 107. Technique was a little rough on the pan shot but I was able to pull it off lol. I wanted a sunset vibe for the final grade since it’s obviously sunset Shooting in sunset is difficult because of exposure. It’s best to do multiple takes at different exposures so you have choices in editing when shooting in tough situations. Use your zebras, and most importantly KNOW YOUR CAMERA. Did a quick test shoot with a tripod by myself, definitely a challenge but it’s a start also couldn’t turn the camera for portrait shots but I’ll figure it out lol #tukesproductions
