Spent the day sweatin in the heat, pulling a motor and replacing the bearings. Kaeser has a Service timer in the controller that recommends replacing the bearings in the motor. Most of my customers choose to ignore this timer and chance the integrity of the one piece of equipment that can shut down their entire production. But, if you follow the Preventative Maintenance plan that Kaeser has designed, you wont be chancing this, you'll be protecting this vital part of their business. Installed a little bit of the Kaeser Smart Pipe+ today, connecting a new Kaeser Compressor and a new Receiver Tank. This stuff is actually pretty slick, and easy to install. The inside resists corrosion and build up, while providing a very smooth surface to assist in laminar air flow.
