Carter Hawthorne is now 28 and ready to take the throne, but there's one problem. He's cursed to die if he doesn't find someone to love when he turns 45. Worried that he won't find love, he decides to host a selection, with his sister in charge. Carter's parents don't think that this is exactly the best idea because they say that there are plenty of people who love him, but Carter blows them both off. Carter used to be a sweet and kind prince, but since the old witch of the kingdom cast the spell on him, he's now turned cold and cruel. Carter is also rumored to kill off his wives once he's done with them. Of course, his parents don't believe this, but it's true.
