Going to make organ meat burgers again and use 1 pound of ground lamb, 1 pound of bison & 1 pound of grass fed beef liver. .
We were also out of bacon and it was on sale .

I am eating less and less these days & I’m not worried about it in the least. I think this happens naturally over time when you eat a meat based diet. #stablebloodsugar
#facetofacefriday I needed a reminder of how far I’ve come. Even though I’m on a new journey in life and this body is going to go through another big changeI’m still trying to accept the fact that my body is not mine right now and I need to let go of the thought of trying to control it. I’m terrified to gain weight but it’s not for me, it’s for my baby. Right now he/she needs me to love and nourish my body no matter what it looks like or whatever I feel it looks like. I’ve been in an overweight mindset for so much of my life that it’s hard at times to accept that my belly is going to get huge again, except this time it’ll be my baby growing and not because I couldn’t control my eating habits. Creating life truly is an amazing thing, an amazing feeling and an amazing sacrifice that I wouldn’t change for anything in the world... I just need the old me and her old mindset to let go.

There are a few different ways to eat carnivore. For people with autoimmune symptoms, a stricter approach might be the way to go. But really, there is no "right" or "wrong" way to do it. Even carnivorous animals in the wild eat plants on occasion.
More meat + less (no) plants. BOOM!
Now I am not someone who thinks you need to label how you eat, but I do think it can be helpful for anyone new to this lifestyle to know it's not all or nothing.

I used to spend hours doing cardio (even ran a marathon and a couple half marathons in my 20’s) - and I did nothing to improve my lean body mass, bone density & metabolism. I was “skinny”.....which does not equal healthy.
.
My time is limited & when I work out, I choose to lift weights & do basic functional movements (squats, deadlifts, bench press & some accessory work).
.
I’m not saying that’s what you should do or that I’ve got it all figured out - just saying it’s what works best for me & my metabolic goals .
.
I also do love walking outside & getting natural sunlight & doing yoga (obviously ).
