Friday Transformation i was looking through old photos and I realized ... I never took any full body!!!! you know the feeling when you’re unhappy with your self and the way you look .. that you just like taking face photos? Well that was me. Yesterday , my co workers and I took photos and I was more worried with how my makeup looked than showing my full body the left photo was taken about 2 weeks into my diet (Dec, 14 2018) but I still felt chubby. You can see how much my face has slimmed down and that’s what makes me the happiest ! When I’m chubby and ‘overweight’ my face tends to look very round and cheeky but when I lose weight and am ‘skinny’, it’s long and oval shaped I always get asked, “what did you do, what kinds of exercises?!” Truth be told, I have never worked out during these 14 weeks (well just once) but I lost weight simply because I changed my eating habits! Everything I consume is counted and in portions.. the number #1 way to lose weight is by living a healthier lifestyle. It’s a life changing decision that I made a few months back and I’m so happy to see where I am today. ♥️ My coaches at @wellnessmode , whom are now my co-workers/boss/friends are AMAZING! If you’re truly interested in losing weight, and making a lifetime change. I highly recommend enrolling in this low-carb diet. Now I’m not just saying it because i ‘work there’ now, I’m saying it because I am living PROOF & so is my daughter. Raise your hand if the thought of trying on bathing suits use to turn your stomach or still does‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️ I have to share another NSV (non scale victory) I went bathing suit shopping and loved it! Never in a million years would I think I’d ever enjoy bathing suit shopping. I went because it’s something I have been dreading. I was tearing my body apart and focusing on how “bad” I’d look with my loose skin so I did what I knew I needed to do to move forward: I went to Target for the big try-on and move-on method I’ve started doing to calm my fears. Guys, I had fun in that dressing room. I didn’t even notice my skin‍♀️ I was too busy being proud of ALL the options I had. Is the loose skin on my legs really uncomfortable for me to show, honestly, yes! But, it’s not enough to bring me down and it’s not enough to keep me from enjoying how amazing I feel in my new bathing suits‍♀️ loose skin is just skin but my hard work shows all over my body and I’m damn proud of it wear your hard work proud. Prance down to that pool or beach and let them stare in awe of what you’ve accomplished I thought I’d hate myself in a bathing suit but it couldn’t be further from how I really feel: so damn proud! The point here- face your fears instead of letting them cripple you. I was scared of the suit so I went to try it on and found I had nothing to be scared of. This is true for so much more than just bathing suits and has been a constant finding for me along my journey. Face those fears and knock them down! Empower yourself . @beccas_battle . Today is a big day!! I'm officially in the 150's, 159.6 lbs to be exact! When I started keto I wasn't really sure what my goal weight was going to be, but recently I've decided I want to stay around 150- 155lbs. In December I thought for sure I would be at my goal weight by April, but the losses have slowed down A LOT. In Feb I lost 4 lbs and in March only 3 lbs. I guess my body is getting comfortable, but I'm not too stressed. I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing and the scale will move eventually. One thing I won't do to get to my goal is an egg fast - no thanks. I want my goal weight to be sustainable and I don't want to do something extreme to get there. As of today I am more than half ways there! I am down a total of 32 pounds my goal weight was to be 129 but honestly I think I will look way to skinny i am on my second round of weight loss, week 4 and I still plan to continue. I am going to go as far as I can until I feel comfortable with myself and weight. I just want to thank each and everyone one of you that have supported along the way ♥️ reading all these positive comments and uplifting messages being so much joy to my heart ! Brussels sprouts 2 tbsp. olive oil 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tsp. chopped thyme kosher salt Freshly ground black pepper 1 c. shredded mozzarella 1/4 c. freshly grated Parmesan Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 425° and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Prepare an ice bath in a large bowl. Blanch brussels sprouts: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add brussels sprouts and cook until bright green and very tender, about 10 minutes. Add brussels sprouts to ice bath to cool then drain. On a large baking sheet, toss blanched brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic and thyme. Using the end of a small glass or mason jar, press down on the brussels sprouts to smash them into a flat patty. Season each smashed brussels sprout with salt and pepper, then sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan on top. Bake until the bottoms of the sprouts are crispy and the cheese is melted and golden, about 20 minutes.
