Had a lot of DM’s since posting Jodie’s transformation, just something i wanted to explain...when lightening hair you need to expect a process, not everyone’s hair lifts easily and everyone’s colour history is the same. Jodie had ombré last year and had a rich chocolate brown to cover it for her wedding and has since had one all over freshen up. (No harsh box dye build up or black) She also used a colour B4 a few weeks back as she wanted to lighten her ends! The process took 5 hours and I dedicated the afternoon to transforming Jodie’s hair, that way I had no stress or worry with sticking to a slot or worry about keeping anyone waiting, Jodie was willing to pay extra for this service and understood she will be spending the afternoon in the salon. Please take into account when considering going blonde from brunette that it is more cost effective and I cannot guarantee the overall finished tone especially if Its your first visit to the salon, like I explained before everyone’s hair lifts differently and it’s can be a process depending on the history. I explained to Jodie prior to her appointment that she may need to come back into the salon in a few weeks for a top up depending how well her hair lifts... after the first set of full head highlights and toner we were both really pleased with the result and how well it had lifted, I then dried her hair and done a balayage to take any existing warmth out, and toned again! This week we went to try out the Curly Wurly at Somerdale Pavilion Parkrun. It was wet, windy and a very twisty course but an enjoyable one. Will defo be visiting again in the future

To me, from me I’m absolutely thrilled to announce that the charity event I organised all by myself on Sunday raised £503.50 for @invisiyouth Definitely a great excuse to treat myself to some colourful and creepy flowers ⁣ ⁣ I didn’t actually get many photos of the night as I was so busy so if anyone has any photos at all, I would soo appreciate you sending them to me ❤️ I have however been inundated with videos so will upload some of those soon ⁣ ⁣ I also didn’t get a chance to do a headcount but from what I can remember, around 50-60 people came which I am SO overjoyed about. The absolute biggest thank you for taking time out of your week and money out of your pockets to support myself and a wonderful cause ❤️ You also supported an independent business owned by the two loveliest people by buying food and drinks at the event - @haywardsgrasmere. ⁣ ⁣ I honestly don’t think it could’ve gone any better.
