A trend forecaster recently named it “Cuisine of the Year,” with the “Dish of the Year” being “khachapuri,” a term that refers to any number of Georgian cheese-filled breads. The dish is having a moment on Instagram, where #Khachapuri has been tagged more than 36,000 times. Well, I guess today is as good as ever a day to share some *BIG* news! I’m excited to announce that over the next year, I’ll be fulfilling a long-time dream of mine by working on my first cookbook What on, you ask? On Hot Cheese Think slow-cooked pimento cheese dip, pizza with pools of Mozarella di Bufala, fried raclette sticks, sour cream and onion potato gratins, and Hong Kong cheese-smothered pork chops (ty @czhao hehe). And of course, classics like fondue, baked brie, broccoli and cheddar soup (in a bread bowl of course!) and my childhood favorite, chicken cordon bleu. Who doesn’t love melty, gooey cheese, am I right?! Thank you @chroniclebooks for the wonderful opportunity and to all those that are reading this-looking forward to sharing this journey with you! Khachapuri Adjarian (adică din regiunea Adjara) e una dintre cele mai bune plăcinte cu brânză din câte am gustat vreodată. Eu zic că e un redutabil adversar pentru pizza, chiar dacă nu se bucură de aceeași popularitate. Imaginați-vă cum e rupi o bucățică din marginea aia rumenă și să întinzi în gălbenușul ăla moale, prin untul topit și prin brânza care se întinde în fire lungi și apetisante. Para esta noche les compartimos una receta que es realmente deliciosa... Es una mezcla de pan relleno y pizza, se llama “Khachapuri” y es de origen Georgiano.
Su forma tan particular, el sabor que le aporta el queso feta y culminar con ese huevo por encima, la convierten en un exquisitez única!!

Necesitás:
✔ Harina 000 200 Gr.
✔ Agua 50 Cc.
✔ Leche 50 Cc.
✔ Levadura Fresca 10 gr.
✔ Aceite de Oliva 1 Cda.
✔ Azúcar 1 Cdita.
✔ Sal 1 Cdita.
✔ Huevo 2 u.
✔ Queso Muzzarella 100 Gr.
✔ Queso Feta 100 Gr.
En un bowl colocar la harina, azúcar, sal, agua, leche, levadura y aceite. Incorporar bien todos los ingredientes y bajar la masa a una superficie plana.
Amasar durante unos minutos hasta lograr un bollo liso y parejo. Cubrir y dejar descansar durante 30 minutos o hasta doblar tamaño.
Estirar con palo hasta alcanzar un espesor de 1 cm aproximadamente. Colocar la masa sobre una fuente aceitada.
Mezclar los dos quesos y colocarlos sobre la masa, dejando libre los bordes. Reservar un puñado de relleno (20 Gr. aprox) para luego.
Enroscar la masa hacia adentro, haciendo más angostos los extremos. Cerrar las puntas haciendo pequeños giros.
Cubrir y dejar descansar durante 30 minutos.
Pintar los bordes con un huevo batido y luego cubrirlos con el queso restante.
Hornear durante 15 minutos a temperatura máxima (+220º). Retirar del horno, agregar un huevo sobre el queso y hornear durante 5 minutos más o hasta que coagule el huevo.
Listo!! Ahora rompé esa puntita de pan tan particular, mojala en la yema del huevo y dedicate a disfrutar esta delicia!!
