PART 1:⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I have grown up hearing about turmeric aka haldi, as we call it in Urdu. Haldi goes in most if not all of our curries to give this beautiful, golden yellow-ey kick to our foods. Growing up I thought it was nothing more than a powder we use in our foods. Little did I know then that it is extremely healthy for our internal system and our external, our skin! ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ Thanks to its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, turmeric works wonders to help reduce redness from blemishes and brighten up the skin. It is also great for acne as it’s a natural antiseptic! I think one of my first experiences with really seeing the benefits of turmeric on my skin was a couple of years back when I was having a bad skin reaction and tried a DIY turmeric mask. I was in AWE. I had never seen such an instant freshness and radiance from a face mask before. Since then I’ve been convinced that this is the perfect ‘pick me up’ ingredient for a face mask!⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ So when I was gifted this mini by Kiehls to try out and give my honest review, I was extremely excited with turmeric being the main ingredient in it! I tried it on for the first time two days ago, the texture is beautiful, very creamy and thick with tiny cranberry seeds in it for exfoliation.
