Did you know that different colours affect us in different ways? And that the colours you surround yourself with at work affect your behaviour and your feelings. Many psychologists have studied the significance of colours and have shown that they are perceived in various ways, producing some kind of reaction amongst most people. Learn more via link in bio.
Our LEIA looks good in our new LEMON yellow. Yellow is a universal solar symbol that we often associate with optimism, joy and energy. It’s a colour that captures our attention and is said to sharpen our memory and thinking, so it’s a good colour to use in a workplace, as yellow is often associated with the intellect. Yellow can also be used to advantage in meeting rooms for creative or brainstorming sessions as it’s a colour that gets people talking.
Our LEIA looks good in new PEAR green. Green is a harmonious colour that often symbolises nature and that we associate with health, youth, security and environmental awareness. Green is easiest on the eyes, and is our preferred colour. A green surface creates harmony and tired eyes relax when looking at green. Possessing both soothing and refreshing effects, it creates balance. A colour suitable for all spaces.
INREDNING – härligt samarbete med ett gäng arkitekter där vi tog fram färgkollektion för @kinnarps Color Studio. Kul att den uppskattas och används!✨

ELEVEN NEW STAIN COLOURS – SELECTED BY ARCHITECTS. The fantastic setting of the Clarion Hotel Post in Gothenburg was the ideal place to meet and create moodboards with Hanna Bolin from @krooktjader and Christopher Kihlberg from @semren_mansson They combined the new stained veneers they took part in developing with fabrics in various tones and shades. It was inspiring to see how they mixed and matched stain colours and different surfaces to create a dynamic effect. "By using the stain and different colours, you get an appealing complexity in the environment. It's not just a repetition, but you have the chance to work with different surfaces and colours," says Hanna. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #architectanddesign #instarchitecture #archilover #design #naturalmaterialsarebeautiful #naturalmaterials #cleanmaterials #workplace #designoffice #designinspo #interior #kinnarpscolourstudio #colourscheme #materiality #surfacematerials #inspiringmaterials #furniturecolors
With LIV, you get a fabric that looks like classic linen, but what you get is a 60 °C washable fabric weave in Trevira CS that meets the market's stringent requirements. The colour scale is natural and tranquil, making this fabric a good choice for creating beautiful and inviting interior design. The wide colour scale, design and washability make this fabric suitable in all environments, even tough ones like schools and healthcare. Here it is used on our SCANDINAVIA sofa.
There are FOUR PRIMARY COLOURS that affect us most - green, yellow, red and blue. Their different properties evoke specific feelings in us and contribute to creating particular atmospheres in spaces. With regard to interiors, it is interesting that a cold colour (lilac, blue and green) subjectively increases the size of an area while a warm colour (red, orange and yellow) makes it seem smaller. A warm colour also creates a welcoming feeling while a cold colour makes us perceive a cooler space. Read more about colours, link in bio.
