Anyone else use gemstone therapy in their life? ‍♀️ It is something that I have used for most of my years as a massage therapist/healer, so going on nine years now. I use them intermittently most of the time, but I definitely want to get into using them more consistently again. . . So I am a full-blown empath. Which means that I pick up the energies of everyone (and I do mean EVERYONE) around me. (Blog post to come on this) While there are great things that come with this gift, there are not-so-great things that come with it too. And one of those is taking on too much energy. To the point that it overwhelms my nervous system and causes insomnia, anxiety, depression, and a few other things. So I have to protect myself daily from this by practicing self care, and I use gemstones a lot with that. . . This lovely clear tower is Selenite. It is one of the only gemstones I have found that will ground me, and clear my mind ON THE SPOT. I have this one I keep in my purse, and I just purchased two selenite necklaces on @etsy. It makes a world of difference. It helps with cleansing, healing, and protection. And if you do chakra work, it is great to help open up your crown chakra. It works great to cleanse your hands after you’ve been on your phone all day too. . .
