Good morning!! .

Are these two not a couple of goddesses?! Like come on! I’m up and headed back to the sunflowers for more sessions today and tomorrow. I am knee deep in editing, but loving every second of it! Thank you so much to everyone who booked a sunflower this year and can’t wait to do it again in two years. I hope you have an amazing weekend! ✨
I fully expect my engagement to now plummet because I’m posting a family image & those don’t do as well as couples, which makes me sad & makes no sense. I’m sick of having to conform to Instagram’s algorithm in order to get some damn engagement. So if you see this, just double tap it. Break the rules with me. Support a small business. Thanks friends.

Sharing a few of our favorite audio books and family read alouds in stories today, just in time for summer. In case you miss it, I’m adding it to my highlights so I can add to it as I have time to share more(we have a lot of faves). Let me know what you think and let me know you family’s favorites too. #oursummeronfilm
“I never imagined that I would have to fight to keep the wonder. But fight, I do. It’s a messy fight, not at all consistent. I try not to dwell on my lack and the shame that sometimes threatens to overwhelm. Instead, I think about the wonder, this moment, and about the God who gives good gifts. Thankfulness can chase away a thousand thoughts of shame. The smallest and tiniest gifts take us by the hand to reveal the greatest and most holy truths. That these small gifts can point so undeniably to the greatest Giver, is a wonder all by itself.” -Emily Freeman
She won’t be an only child much longer and I doubt she’ll even remember what it was like to be the only one when she’s grown up! I’m feeling sentimental about my last weeks with her one-on-one, but I know she is going to be the best big sister. Soaking up lots of pool & lake & zoo & book & backyard time with her this summer before bebe #2 arrives. I can’t wait to see her reaction when she meets her wittle sis! I know they’ll eventually be bff, but how do you think she’ll react when she sees her for the first time?!
