The boys climbing up Palm Canyon. It was 9 a.m. and the sun still wasn't high enough to penetrate all the way into the narrow canyon. Thank God for that because by 10 a.m. it is BAKING hot.

Very proud of these two. After an active morning hiking up to Palm Canyon, they still wanted to join me on what turned out to be a 4-hr return trek around the base of the mountains. No grousing either!
