Type design is a long term game, that takes tons of time. But the other day I was thinking—what’s the shortest time needed to design a proper font? Turns out that one single day can be enough for Basic Latin, digits, punctuation and even kerning/spacing. How cool is that? Don’t recommend it to anyone though, it’s not healthy! The font is quite raw, what do you guys think of it? Is it worth extending to a bigger family?

On March 8th I had the honor of being part of special @google Doodle for International Women’s Day 2019 alongside other talented women of letters and illustration The commission was to create letterings in different languages featuring words of amazing ahead-of-their-time female writers from different parts of the world. I designed the letterings for the French (see third previous post on TL) and Portuguese quotes.
