I present to Oberyn the Bold from the Steelheart’s champions warband for Warhammer Underworlds. This piece was a good excercise in dark grey/black armour and to improve on my NMM gold. I wanted to try painting with a monochromatic colour scheme using only different kinds of yellows for colour. I managed to stick to it for most of the model, but I do think I used a dark orangy brown in the gold . There are some small area’s that I might go back and correct, but he was initially a little side project in between my Gitz. All in all I found it an extremely fun miniature to paint! I had hoped to post this with the announcement of some tutorial videos, but getting everything sorted out will take me a bit longer (still planned though!). For now I’m going to return to an older Shadespire project and get them ready for a tournament this saturday (pictures will follow), and after that it is Gitz time again!
