Don’t you just love it when you pop into the library for a quick visit & spot book after book that you’ve been wanting to read for ages? I struck library gold on my recent visit & cant wait to get stuck into this haul. See any favourites here that I should prioritise?

I'm know I'm super late to the game with SWEETBITTTER by Stephanie Danler but I've finally gotten around to it. I would have agreed completely with all the one star reviews for the first quarter of this book, but although it has its flaws, I ended up enjoying it. ~ With little to no ambitions, Tess moves to New York and finds a job at a high end restaurant as a backwaiter. She continues to blunder through life drinking too much, doing too many drugs, and of course, falling for the bad boy with issues. What I liked: The classy (and not so classy) New York City backdrop, a small insight into food lit and the style of the prose. The downside: slightly pretentious with an undeveloped plot and characters. Can anyone tell me how the series compares? Thinking I'll make it my Sunday night plans!
