Ups, hallo liebes Libre ⠀ In der Zwischenzeit hat sich wieder ein Libre Sensor bei mir eingeschlichen. Ein normaler Sensor, ohne Alarme, dafür mit LibreLink App. Ich hab den von einem Freund geschenkt bekommen, der selbst Typ 1 hat und vollstes Verständnis dafür, dass ich aktuell keine Lust auf das ganze Blutzucker testen habe. ⠀ Hab ich ehrlich gesagt auch nicht. Ich hoffe mein Rezept über den Dexcom G6 ist so langsam bei der Krankenkasse angekommen und wird schnell genehmigt.⠀ Wenn man einmal an eine CGM-Kurve gewöhnt ist oder generell an eine Kurve, sind diese kurzen Momentaufnahmen der Blutzuckertests wirklich wenig. Mir fehlte die komplette Übersicht. Als würde ich die Kontrolle abgeben. Gut, dass ich es jetzt also wenigstens scannen kann zu mindestens die nächsten 9 Tage und so lerne ich auch mal die #LibreLink App kennen. Als ich nämlich damals noch selbst Libre Nutzerin war, gab es die noch nicht und später war sie mit meinem IPhone Vorgänger nicht kompatibel. Hallelujah! After self funding the #freestylelibre for the past two years, FINALLY Bristol has caught up with the rest of the UK and allowing me to get it on Perscriptions! - I know not everyone will be eligible, but we’re certainly moving in the right direction! - I worked out I have spent over £2,000 in the last few years on this little life saving gadget! But so worth it. From my understanding in order to get it on Perscriptions you have to have self funded for a certain period of time, along with having a drop of at least 5 in your HBA1C results. Thankfully I have had both! - My A1c has gone from 67 to 52 in the last two or so years! Awoooo Love Meg

Schönen Abend, puh heute war ein wilder Tag. Trotz der Hitze viel Fahrrad gefahren, am See gewesen (da auch das Bild geschossen) und jetzt endlich daheim. Allerdings überlege ich mir gerade noch zur Eisdiele zu gehen Dann auch noch Ärger mit meiner Diabetesberaterin gehabt, dazu erzähl ich euch morgen mehr. Aber irgendwie hab ich mit denen kein Glück. Naja mal sehen, was die Zukunft so bringt. Heute Abend noch ein Bild von mir + Freestyle Libre! Wo tragt ihr den? Ich kann mich irgendwie nicht überreden lassen, ihn wo anders als an den äußeren Oberarmen anzubringen. LIBRE APP UPDATE Thanks to @t1louisemxrie story yesterday, I learnt that there is now a new version of the librelink available to download which promises better accuracy of readings. I had been putting off applying a new sensor until this was done so it now gives me the confidence to put on a new libre on to see what difference it makes!! Really hope this reduces the amount of seemingly wildly false libre readings out there for everyone. Love Belle and Meg
