I'm too tired to write a fancy caption! Elian actually slept fine last night but I didn't. Little bug is making it quite uncomfortable now, very wiggly and tight in there! I have zero appetite most the time, so I think that's contributing to my lack of energy too. Plus the anaemia! But we're at 37 weeks and bug could arrive at any time...hopefully in a less dramatic way than Elian did...at home in my birth pool. Do you ever sit there and get that feeling, the “how am I the grown up in charge” feeling? I think I get it more than I should. I’m about to have my fourth child and I still don’t think I have it together enough for all this responsibility. My partner seems to think I know what I’m doing, and that’s scary because I think I epitomise the phrase “winging it”. I sort of around about know what I should be doing and I try to get as close to that as possible but wow I am nowhere near as together as wish I was or even thought I would be as an adult. I think this quote is the reason why, as a child you just assume your parents know what they are doing, you trust them with your survival, then all of a sudden your the one with little peoples survival in your hands and OMG how scary is it unlike our parents though, we now have the pressure of everyone watching our every move too, if you shout at your child in public, you may be filmed and put on social media, if your child doesn’t look picture perfect, high chance your being judged by someone. We really need to learn to not give a f*ck, basically and if someone thinks they have the right to judge you then, pity them! They must not have enough going on in their own lives and need to get one OR they are scared themselves and are projecting that in a negative way. Irregardless it has nothing to do with you ❤️
