I have searched for the most “green” photo to announce that we are donating again! This time we are donating TREES. You all have noticed that instead of using plastic bags we are using paper to pack your item. Though it is much more sustainable packaging solution, we have to admit that it contributes to deforestation. Forests are vital as they provide carbon sequestration, protection against floods, landslides and soil erosion, as well as harboring a rich bio-diversity of plants, animals etc. That is said, we really understand that sustainability requires to think and act beyond short – term profit making and usually it does not fit standard business models at all. Feeling absolutely comfortable with this, tomorrow we are starting our new donation campaign where all money that will be collected will be donated to plant trees. We hope to plant 2000 – 3000 trees in the most deforested areas. All products (discounted 50 % off) will be listed in our Etsy shop in the “Donation” category and the campaign will start at 11 AM EDT tomorrow (27 th of June). You will be able to preview the items in our stories soon.
