Earlier in the month we got an awesome set of colored pencils and sketch books for both girls. We’ve turned them into Dream Doodle Pads! I asked the girls to take time to draw their dreams from the night before if they want, to draw dreams they have to their future and just fun things they wish they could have! Now a family of three. Penn Adams arrived on Wednesday July 24th. We are so in love. Honestly my heart left my body when they laid this boy on my chest seconds after he entered the world. Giving birth to him was the hardest and most gratifying experience of my life. Thank you all so much for the kind words and well wishes, I am healing well and on the 4th trimester journey. - Anne

It feels like summer! . . This little noodle and I went to her first outdoor waterpark today! It was perfect for this extreme heat advisory our area was in. We packed a picnic, filled extra water bottles, and had a fantastic day with grandma, grandpa &Gigi! (Gigi is her Great-grandma ) We even got to try out a wave pool for the first time today... little one was not a fan... ‍♀️ but she did love the more interactive, shallow areas! What a fantastic summer day! . . Anyone else ready for #fallweather or is it just me?! ‍♀️ . . I’ve finally put my Instant Pot #cornchowder recipe on the blog - it’s seriously one of my favorite fall dishes, although I make it year round because it’s #sodarngood . . . I think our family would go through withdrawals if I didn’t make it at least once every few months, even in the summer months . . .
