Kushtarajagala statue, Weligama. Sri Lanka Esta escultura de Buda tiene más de 2.000 años y es un punto histórico importante del país. Un sin fin de historias del folclore cingalés giran alrededor de este lugar. On râle contre instagram, souvent, car oui, à quoi bon ce réseau social, c’est marketing, c’est fake, ça ne rime à rien, ce temps perdu, ces relations virtuelles... Eh bien malgré le temps « perdu » (car oui j’en perds, c’est sûr), je vois toujours en ce réseau un magnifique moyen de rencontrer des gens ou de maintenir des liens, nés furtivement. Je pense à @uwemurat, cette personne virtuelle à qui je demandais conseil en ligne il y a deux ans et qui m’a cette année accueillie à bras ouverts dans sa maison de famille au Sri Lanka. Aujourd’hui bien réelle. Ou à mes copains belges @samputzeys et @juliette.orlans rencontrés au Costa Rica il y a 3 ans, maintenant voisins landais. Et puis plein d’autres. Alors oui parfois Instagram fait douter, on se compare, on se jalouse, on idéalise ou on diabolise les gens... mais comme dans toute chose il y a toujours des côtés positifs. We are back!!! After taking a little break to travel, rejuvenate and spend quality time both together and with friends + family, we are so happy to be home! While we loved our time away, we missed this little island. With endless inspo from our travels, we are beyond pumped for the next chapter and season ahead . On a side note, can't tell you how nice a digital detox/ insta vacay was! As a small business owner, it's sometimes hard to totally switch off. So, before heading away Seddy and I conciously gave ourselves permission to completely unplug. Seriously can't recommend it enough #slowentrepreneur .
