Open studios is tnite at @northrupkingbuilding ! 5-9pm. Two of my favorite people are popping up in my space with their vintage home goodies, furniture, clothing, etc. @kristy.taylor.design and @vendor_51 So many treasures in my home are from these two, you should see THEIR homes. Liepke. Words: James Salter, A sport and a pastime, 1967. . Malcolm T. Liepke, born in Minneapolis, is inspired, amongst others, by Edouard Vuillard. He focuses on intimacy and introspection. This he has in common with Salter. . James Salter, one of the greatest writers of our time, died three years ago at the age of 90. On his tombstone is written: “Art is life rescued from time.” ‘A sport and a pastime’ was his breakthrough novel. It’s a very sensual, tragic love story, written in a sober, down-to-earth style. Starting on my @youreagemmsp installation today! My first time playing with colored plexiglass and my plan is to make some mobiles that hang from the ceiling of my color cave. You’re a gem is an experiential gallery, curated by @larissaloden and created by a team of MN designers and artists. The space is a collection of art, installation and fun stuff. FUN STUFF.
