Phase One is complete. The beds have been built and filled. Seedlings and fresh seeds have been put down. Hanging flowers have been planted for an early burst of color. The wind chime has been placed on a better shepherd's hook so that it can be seen and heard even after the tallest flower blooms. There is still much to be done, but this is probably it for this year. I can't wait for it to be full of color and fragrance.
I want to say that this is for my sweet babygirl, but this is really for those of us left behind. It's a place to honor Mirabella Grace's brief life while giving her loved ones a place to reflect and find a sense of peace.

It's a start. My sweetheart and the boys moved the fence so that the vegetable garden space is extended. Although the extra space will only be used for Mirabella Grace's memorial garden, having it within the same fence will ensure that the dogs will leave it alone. Hopefully, I'll have new beds made this weekend so that I can begin filling them with the flower seedlings that I've been nurturing.
