Day 23 of #memademay (whoa, where did May go?!?) and I’m not wearing anything exciting, but I am finally feeling a whole lot better after being sick all week so I thought I would pop in and participate before it’s over! I had such high hopes for productivity for 2019 and here we are, almost halfway through the year, and I feel I have accomplished nothing. I’ve been kinda despondent of late after shelving the pattern that I had been working on since February. I have been toying with taking a hiatus from pattern making , I just feel like between my job and parenting the twins I can’t get anything done and I have no time to sew for fun anymore. I miss having a creative outlet sometimes. I made a pair of #yantaoveralls this weekend and they were perfect for chilling outside and eating too much bbq today For reference, I cut a size 6 (measurements put me at size 8) but took in both the sides and inseam for a closer fit. The fabric is a really nice recycled cotton canvas that I picked up from @clothhouse on my trip to London. Definitely gonna wear these a bunch this summer! #memademay2019
