His expert teaching skills led me to perform the forward and reverse #travelingbeast #level1 #animalflow exercise. These actually are a lot more tiring than they look ‼️ This #animalflow exercise stabilizes the core while strengthening the arm, leg, and and back muscles. It’s essentially like a full body stabilizer exercise. Laying floors is not for the weak. We spent the entire last two days ripping up carpet and putting down laminate floors, anyone else done this on their own NOT EASY I know my arms are going to be sore from all the hammering.

My glutes and shoulders are going to be pulsing for days!! . Took my first @barre3stl class today and WOWZA. I won’t lie I totally underestimated the sweat I’d be dripping .

For starters I walked in feeling good saw the little weights we were going to use, so I opted for the biggest I could get, 4lb (and grabbed some 3lb just in case). Which I didn’t touch my 4s . We used a band for legs, held poses, pulsed in poses. My muscles shook .

I always love trying new workouts. Gives me new ideas, helps me learn more about my body and I meet new people.

It’s so easy these days to compare ourselves to other people. Whether it be personally or physically. I’ve honestly had a rough few months since moving back to Indiana and dealing with so many changes (including disgusting weather). I came sooooo close to stepping on that stage last year and I beat myself up because it hasn’t happen yet. I was getting ready this morning and I caught a glimpse of myself. Am I extremely cut? No, but I’m ok with that. I’ll tell you what I am though. I’m strong! Not just physically, but also mentally. These pics on the left are just a simple reminder to appreciate the positive changes I’ve made in the last three years. I guess what I’m getting at is as long as you’re moving forward and not stepping back into your comfort zone then you’re doing something right. Health and fitness are so much more than what we look like, but more importantly how we feel inside our hearts, minds, and bodies. Now I’m gonna go kill this workout! Happy Saturday to my fit fam!
