Hosting an open house was intimidating at first... . What would people ask me? What year is the AC unit? What’s the avg price per sq ft in this area? Where’s the closest elementary school? Why are there cracks in the ceiling?!! . After sitting more open houses, I started to anticipate the questions & prepare myself for them. I also realized that it’s OKAY if I don’t know everything as long as I find out ASAP. I’ve found that people value honesty over everything else. . Now open houses have become a RELAXED way to meet awesome people and connect in some pretty rad homes. I truly believe that PREPARATION & PRACTICE are the messy, awkward, uncomfortable steps that are NECESSARY for improvement. #keepingitreal

It’s true! It’s happening. Jeff and I are moving to Prescott, Arizona! It has been a little bit of a whirlwind around here, but Jeff has accepted a job and starts April 1. This is no April fool’s joke, I assure you. We are excited for this new adventure and this new chapter in our lives. It is a little scary to move to a new state, and we are sad to leave family and friends, but we also can’t wait to see what the future holds. Now you all have a new place to come and visit in the summer to cool down from the scorching desert temps. Cheers to new beginnings! True story. I’m actually considering this I mean, anyone else out there who hasn’t started their #ChristmasShopping?! Ok good, just me ‍♀️ Y’all, no joke, this whole packing the house and moving to Arizona not to mention wedding planning on top of that, pretty much consumes me. It doesn’t help that the house is in boxes and there is no Christmas decor in site.
