It just keeps growing! The #100daywallhanging is chugging along and although yesterday I redid a large section, it is still growing! - We are about 1/3 of the way into #the100dayproject so size-wise this is 1/3 of the final size! - I am currently planning how to best keep working on this project while traveling Scotland with Adam and his choir... we leave in a little over a week and I plan to keep stitching everyday while we are there! So I’m currently seeing how many strips of fabric I can fit into one bag and guessing how much embroidery floss I will need. I won’t bring the large base piece with me. I plan on just stitching new additions during the trip and then attaching them all when I get home! It will be interesting to essentially “work blind” for awhile not knowing how what I am making will look with the larger piece. - This project is an adventure to say the least so the Scotland coils will continue that theme! - Do you travel with your artwork often? What do you bring?

One of my favorite things about North Carolina is the close distance to both the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains, and the 300 miles of beautiful coastline. Are you a mountain or beach person? I'd say I'm usually a beach person, but some of my favorite spots in NC are mountain towns. I'm traveling to Boone, NC this weekend, with some of these new ornaments and lots of other pottery for @popupboone (Side note: please send restaurant recommendations my way!) These mountain to the sea ornaments are also available online, available in any state, province or country.
