Many of you probably don’t know that I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at age 10. . Crohn’s disease is an autoimmune disease where the body’s immune system attacks its digestive organs, including the intestines. . I spent many years feeling fatigued, bleeding internally, having skin issues and much more. . Over the past few years, I’ve found that by keeping my immune system strong with dense nutrients, not using synthetic chemicals, doing emotional work, and by adding in alkaline foods, and probiotics, I have had a full turn around and have been in remission. . For me, healing has never been just one solution. It’s been a body, mind, spirit solution. . I put this out there, for anyone who is dealing with gut issues,fatigue,skin stuff, etc..I’m happy to have a dialogue with you and be a support person.

celebrating #NationalBurgerDay over here at @theincrediblecafe with a Cali Burger stuffed with avocado ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I get a lot of questions about my diet & how I eat like this on a regular basis without gaining millions of pounds. The answer is: I don’t! I eat salads, roasted vegetables, plant based dishes & drink green juice 80% of the time. The other times are reserved for indulgences, like giant delicious cheeseburgers & loaded tater tots. I also workout at @equinox in La Costa (more info on my stories if you’re interested!) on a very regular basis so I can keep my fried pickles & ice cream (not at the same time, gross) in my diet rotation without feeling guilty.
