Can you believe we're in August already? Where has this year gone? As it is Friday I thought I would do a #skincarereview for this weeks #flatlayfriday I bought these @olay whip moisturisers because of several influencers recommending them. I decided to go with the regenerist because I have tried other products in the range and liked them and bought the total effects because it had the most ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ reviews on the @bootsuk website (after the regenerist) I didn't read the reviews themselves but I'm easily influenced by the ⭐star ratings My experience - Normally I like to use a lot of serums and usually layer them with a moisturizer as the last step, these don't work well like that. Layering other products underneath causes them to pill. However if you apply them directly to the skin, they are great. I was told that the whip formula was created to help with absorption. The air in-between helping the product to not just clog and sit on the skin like most moisturisers do. So by layering other products below you stop that absorption and the pilling happens. So directly applied these work great. They definitely moisture the skin, feel light weight and I have enjoyed wearing them beneath foundation in place of a primer. They are more pricey for Olay, but are often on offer for under £25 and given the innovative technology used to create these, it is worth that price tag in my opinion. Although I definitely wouldn't argue with them reducing the price but given that you are getting a brand new technology advancement in skincare, if this was a higher end brand I'd expect a £60+ price tag so it makes sense. I like them both. Can't say I've noticed a huge difference between the two though. I think it comes down to what you are looking for in a moisturiser Have you tried these?
