The floater to off the lip combo has been around for a long time but is still a great feeling combo..........................

Even though the floater is pretty out dated, it’s still a great transition move to get to the next section. The key is to ride the lip line and to not go to far behind the wave. This will give you that projection into the next section with a speed burst for that final move.....................

#progress comes in all different shapes and forms depending on where you are in your journey. Although the process seems slow at times, it’s amazing how far we have come in a short period. Teaching is not always pointing out things that are wrong, it’s also about pointing out the things you are doing right so the person can focus more in what they’re doing right instead of worrying about what they’re doing wrong.................

This is a great bottom turn to top turn and from what I see, @malcolmlhill is in the right track with his style and technique. I would keep focusing on this same technique and if you want to turn this into more of a blow tail, pull the front arm down just a split second later and you’ll get that tail kick out the back.
