Tuesday ☔️☔️. It’s pouring here so no outside pics today, just me and Angus and a very muddy paw floor. Red nails done last night and the pink was prob a bit too bright for me but loving the red thanks @theluxelounge__ . T shirt says it all .... I commented on a post yesterday about women wearing age appropriate clothes ... what is ‘age appropriate’ anyway and who made the rules? I’m def on the naughty step then ......... shorts, mini skirts, legs out at ‘my age’ my motto is ‘wear what u love and love what u wear’ ..... if u feel good in it then who cares about ur age? As I’ve got older I am more confident about wearing what I love n if people don’t like it ... look away... does a stranger’s opinion really matter? Yesterday I was at a crossroad, today my feet are firmly planted, tomorrow is anyone’s guess...Lol. Going grey is not just a hair color. It is a bit more of allowing myself to be vulnerable to grow and to accept. Sure I can color it back to what it was before and look younger longer to swim in a ocean of many or I can embrace and stand with a few.....positive, bold and courageous women. Naturally I am in. There is another reason, the real grit of my decision. As a survivor. I don’t want to face immunotherapy or chemotherapy ever again so this something I can do to protect myself. So it should be easy right? No, because I am fabulously healthy and feeling like the precancer me who dyed my hair, received gel manicures and drank Diet Coke. Ashamed but true, that was my ignorance. My evolution is steadfast and true but whilst being heathy I forgot “my” reason for being this journey.
