There was a time, a lot of years back, when I had an apprenticeship lined up at a woman-owned tattoo parlor in California. ✨ I didn’t take the gig and ended up staying in Chicago to work in the tech start-up industry, which ultimately was the best decision I ever made. But sometimes I think about that alternate life, one in which I most likely have a sweet neck tat. My mom is probably happy that one didn’t pan out. Shown here: the sketch that would later become an awesome bicep piece.
