What a great post by @herincrediblemindset ・・・
You can make a difference in someone’s else life. Even a simple Hello, Good morning, have a wonderful day, You’re beautiful, and the list goes on, can go a long way and make a person’s day better.
Think of how good it feels when you’re just going about your day and you suddenly get a compliment on something or someone recognizes the effort you’ve been putting into a project. It’s great motivation, and can make you try even harder. Encouragement goes straight to the heart.
Encourage the people around you. Everyone is doing their best in this world and sometimes, a kindly word of encouragement can help others realize that they're not alone.

Bear with me as I share one of my many embarrassingly naive stories about my autoimmune symptoms and how looking back I now realize how much I completely missed this.
If you ask anyone close to me, they’ll tell you that I take really long showers. Trust me though, I move the entire time... washing my hair, body, shaving, face scrub. I don’t stand still but yet seem to take forever. I have even been known to get defensive over this accusation.
After my shower, I rub my skin down with coconut oil and then spend about 30 minutes on my bed “air drying” wrapped in a towel.
This is totally normal, right?
Once done with all that I can get dressed, throw on some mascara and be ready in just a few minutes. I’m not fussy and the majority of my closet is sundresses with pockets.
A few years ago I was visiting my parents and my mom told me that I had about 1 hour to get ready before we were leaving for the day and I should go grab a shower. I told her that I would get ready quickly and would go soon. She insisted I get started now.
Huh? Why?
Well, because she knows me very well. She knows I take long showers and rest afterwards. “Well, doesn’t everyone do that?!” I retort back. “No Aimee, just you do...” she said, “I think your showers fatigue you.” Stunned, I didn’t know what to say as the truth hit me hard.
She was right.
Showers do fatigue me and I do take a long time. My body and limbs and mind are exhausted. Aren’t showers supposed to refresh you? I’ve heard that for years... kinda like a mid-day nap. They are supposed to refresh you.
I can now admit that for years I lied to myself either believing that everyone was like me, or that everyone was wrong... when in fact, the thought of taking a shower actually exhausts me.
I didn’t know something so simple was a major difference between me and a healthy person. I didn’t realize this was a symptom of a much bigger issue. I just had gotten used to resting after a shower but didn’t really know why I did it.
What about you? Do you get fatigued from showering or rest afterwards?
