Today I am a year older... I am not one to celebrate my birthday as I always hope I would be in a better position in my life everytime it comes. ♢ One would say I need to be greatful as there are a lot of things that I have achieved that I should be greatful for. The daughter of a single parent of six who worked as a domestic worker... A girl from Soweto, who studied in a school where there was poor infrastructure and poor teacher attendance. A girl who made it to one of the best Universities in the country, the University of Cape Town.
