(Chennai, India) “One day, my sister came home with books for the NIFT entrance exam. She thought I should take up fashion studies – but at that point, I wasn’t sure about anything. But as 12th got over, and I had to make a choice, I was ready to pick anything over engineering. That was something I was dead set against. So I picked up those books, and walked in to NIFT. But it’s not like I had any clue about the course or what I wanted to be – I was winging it all. I did own a camera like most of my classmates, but it meant nothing to me – it was just a prop. That is until I hit the second year of college, and a new photography lecturer walked in. He said we could do whatever we wanted to with the camera – we could shoot anything and everything we liked. And that changed it all for me. Till then, we only did theoretical photography and wrote endless notes about it. None of which made sense to me. But that semester kick started my journey – I held the camera like it was an extension of me, and realised that I could create magic. I loved what I was shooting, and it was also gave me validation, knowing that I had arrived. Eventually, I took up paid projects and made a living for myself. I got my first pay cheque while I was still in college, at the age of 19. My parents thought I was kidding, but when they saw it, it sunk in! Honestly, when I came to Chennai for the first time, from a smaller city, I never knew I could survive – let alone survive on my own money. But somehow, it worked in my favor. Since then, I’ve shot for some beautiful human beings, heart warming weddings, mouth watering food and fun products. And if there’s one person I owe all of this to, it’s my sister. The woman who put me on the path that I am today. So if there’s one person I’d give the ‘family discount’ to, it’s probably her!”

В пятницу так и не успела выложить пост, хотя в городе задержалась до вечера. Все потому, что , как не хотела растянуть удовольствие, но зарядки телефона хватало на пару часов . Я только доезжала до города и он уже почти разряжался(((. А дальше я как курица с яйцом носилась с ним от разетки к разетке между врачами #хочешьнехочешь , но время замены батареи настало (а это не входило в мои планы ) И #небылопечали . Новая батарея ни чем не помогла . И это блин за 1500 рэ. Может моему телефону ни какая батарея уже не поможет . Было у кого нибудь так с новыми батареями ? А я приехала в город , решать этот вопрос , пусть что то делают с новой батареей . . В планах съездить к прабабушке в Москву денька на 3-4. (Хотели на этой неделе , а тут блин дожди начались и обещают на всю неделю ) Выкладывать посты фото или видео как продвигается ремонт. А ещё появилась идея запустить один марафон в сториз .
