Day three of #FlipYourSht - - Are you ready to go upside down?! Today we are starting with our training wheels on and going for #headstand (up against a wall if preferred) .
Headstands are a great way to build awareness of your body and alignment while upside down to prep you for your hands. Once you’re confident with the basic headstand, this is a great place to continue to work on strengthening your core by adding different variations to the balance. .
To set up, clasp your hands, place your head right in between, and hug your elbows inwards. Then lift one leg (or both if you feel strong) at a time into a tucked position. When you feel ready start to reach the legs (again one, or two at a time) up to the sky or along the wall. See how it feels to hold that line strength. Keep the core active, glutes engaged, and avoid any uncontrolled swaying of the feet. And like ALWAYS make sure you’re still remembering to breath. .

Properly warming up your wrists is ALWAYS an important step in prepping for handstands. Practice weight bearing and building mobility and strength into the wrists. Planks are a great way to build core strength and a great way of training to hold your line while inverted. .

I’m extra excited about this flow, “Elastigirl” from my “Summertime Shapeup Sculpt” class that just released on @dynamicpilatestv yesterday. The Elastigirl flow is about 40 minutes long so all you really need to do is slap on a warm up and cool down and you have a solid class plan. It’s one of my go to “I need to kick their butts” flows.
I do not know of any human being who does not have moral shortcomings..We all do..there is no human being who might not have done something wrong through an act.. many good people make mistakes too out of weakness.. The weakness may be momentary but the consequences are permanent.Does one such mistake or wrong act make a person dishonourable
