New poi dance tip! Especially when performing flowers or windmills, it’s common for poi spinners to tense up their shoulders. You lose mobility when you do this! Consciously try to disengage your shoulders as you spin: it creates more pleasing lines because your neck appears longer and makes your spinning overall look much more effortless!
