For the first time, the whole Class of 2019 was together in fellowship – a celebration of sisterhood and 43 amazing young women (I’m including THE Queen, @missamericanc). I can’t wait for what is going to unravel in June. Tar Heel State, prepare yourself. We are coming by storm! . For the first time, we got to actually watch and support our teens from the audience, and let me tell you, it was a show for sure! The production, the sponsors, and the teens were all remarkable! Did someone say “Dessert Theatre?” • Yesterday, I was asked to do a pretty “sweet gig” and had the honor of performing at Trinity United Methodist Church, in hopes of raising money for their mission trip to Montana! Not only were the desserts sweet, but the members of the church were too! It was nice to be welcomed with open arms and perform a different set of music than what I usually do! They are professionals at #pollinatingwithpositivity – making me and mine feel right at home! The other acts presented were worthy of America’s Got Talent gold-buzzers and really spoke to the family that has been cultivated within those church walls. I always find it’s such an honor to be invited to something so special. Welcome to the “Chick-Fil-A of banks,” People’s Bank —— Lots of “positive pollination” happened on this dreary Friday! I recently started a job as an OC Retail Support Specialist with People’s Bank and had the joy of spending this week at the Triangle Branch. And when I say joy...I truly mean it! I had great support and a phenomenal trainer (s/o to Serenity Spring...such a cool name, right?)! Since today was my last day before teller school, and they were all so sweet, I took some cards and honey to work to show my gratitude for their insight and patience I can proudly say that the hive is quickly expanding! Serenity got me hooked on a new drink this week (unfortunately/ fortunately ), so I returned the favor and brought her her favorite. I also received a little something, just in time for Easter! Say hellloooo to #ToughItOutThursday. Operation: Beast Mode Extreme because not only am I EXTRA, but I get bored with working out soooo quickly! Sometimes it’s good to just tough it out and do something different. Maybe even harder. It helps me to keep a fresh perspective and find what works for me. There was a time in which we thought my body wouldn’t be able to take things like this again. As you can see, this is not the case anymore. This season is for growing. I’m shedding skin (and weight) just to feel better...have something to look forward to. A better mind. Better body. Better me. I’m already feeling the backlash my body is unleashing on me for putting it through today, but I’m rewarding it with cheese fries later‍♀️ it’s all about compromise, amirite?
