I am grateful that in this world people still surprise me and bring joy to my heart. This morning we held our annual “Primary PJ Party” where we introduce our primary kids (children at church between the ages of 3-11) to their new primary teachers...we have breakfast, play get-to-know-you games and best of all we wear our jammies and fun slippers. Today one awesome (brand new) teacher of our very large CTR 6 class (10 boys & 2 girls...all 6 years old) showed up dressed like a PIRATE ‍☠️!! Let me tell you I’ve never seen a better well-behaved group of kids....they were riveted on him and every word. He took the time to learn their names. Be still me over flowing heart!! ♥️ And don’t even get me started on my amazing teachers that took the time to go visit each child in their classes, in their homes before today, to help make them feel welcome...we had many children we have not seen in a while attend today’s festivities and I pray each child (and their parents) know how much they are loved by US, by their teachers and by their wonderful Heavenly Father!! I cannot wait for tomorrow...I LOVE PRIMARY and cannot thank the amazing people I serve with enough for the time they serve with me in primary!! #primaryrocks #lds #churchofjesuschristoflatterdaysaints #primary #primaryparty

Yesterday was such an emotional day as I finished my first teacher training placement! I've learnt so so much during the months I have been at this school and will always miss the staff and, of course, my class. Being given flowers, presents and cards from my class really made me understand that the hard work and long hours were worth it and so appreciated by them.
