It’s been 6 months today since I had the privilege of seeing my incredible friend @danacmoney model my Princess Tiana gown, for my annual Christmas party, the Storybook Solstice! For any of my new pals, my family, friends and I work together each year to create a holiday event themed to a different princess each year, called The Storybook Solstice. It’s my favorite night of the year, where I get to combine all of my love of design and hosting together, while enjoying the company of so many wonderful people. But... do you know what is my favorite part of the #storybooksolstice? I love a good party, but what really makes me want to expand the decor each year and add new levels of immersion, is the feeling of actually living in that space. December 2018 my friends and I worked so hard to bring the Princess and the Frog to life. The main room became the Bayou, glowing with the light of the Christmas trees and fireflies. Now, imagine not just visiting that space, but watching all of the annual Christmas specials there, eating take out, or falling asleep under the canopy of vines.
