Ladies, you deserve someone who honors your values, listens to you, respects you, and makes you feel like you could move mountains. . You DO NOT deserve someone who makes you cry time after time, but then apologizes so it’s okay, right You don’t deserve someone who ignores every little thing you say and ask for, but then sweet talks their way into making you think, “hey maybe you just misunderstood where they were coming from.” You deserve someone who treats you like an equal and respects you when you speak your truth instead of constantly trying to prove that they know what’s best for you. And please for the love of all things holy, you do not ever deserve to be in a situation where you are constantly being manipulated and convinced that you are at fault and apologizing for things that aren’t your fault just to keep the other person happy. . Summer is officially here now right?! ☀️ . This time every year it seems like the only question teachers get is “so what are you doing for a job this summer” . I used to spend my summers babysitting, dog sitting, or working in the restaurant. My senior year of college, I was working Sunday doubles at the restaurant and swore that when I started teaching I would only ever work a job that allowed me to make my own schedule because #freedom . I’m so thankful for a business that I can take anywhere so that I get to spend my time by the pool and be at the beach this summer instead of working a summer job that takes over my schedule ✌
