What’s your fave corner in your home? This is mine I’m such an impatient person but I’m so proud of myself and how much I’ve changed our home in matter of months. Looking back at all of the different ways I have had his room and this view is probably my favorite. But it just wasn’t ideal for my busy boy. He needs space and room to play. Maybe one day, when we no longer have kids in the house and instead we have grandchildren that come to visit and have sleepovers, I’ll put this view back together again.

Transformation Tuesday • • So the husband has finally put the driveway back together so we can use it again. We had replaced the old lead water pipe which ran under the driveway and the house. It was a massive job. Our plumber recommended we do this whilst all the work was going on. The mess was unreal We would eventually like to get a resin bound driveway but it’ll have to wait unfortunately, so for now we have bought the paint to freshen it up and I’ve got some fab new door mats from @amazonhome. I’m going for the double door mat look. If that’s even a thing ‍♀️ I want some stylish new planters so I’m on the hunt for them. Why knock it down when you can just board it up When I handled PR for a big house builder, I suggested to the sales director that we run a campaign called “northern soul” - the premise being that people often think that new build houses are soulless boxes. I thought we should invite interior design students to create an eclectic, vintage filled show home in Manchester to prove it can be done...and on a budget. On hearing this suggestion, she looked at me in a truly horrified manner, and simply said: “no we definitely can’t do that.
