This cake was such a special one for us. One of our very first brides EVER came to visit us at our last pop up shop and told us she had some news....a baby was on the way!! After loud squeals of excitement, big hugs and a few happy tears (because that’s how I roll ), we were asked to make a cake for her ”Where The Wild Things Are” baby shower. Katelin, we can’t express what an honor it was to be part of your baby shower. We are so excited for you and your whole family!! Can’t wait to meet the little babe.❤️

Hard to believe it’s been 10 years. It feels like a whole other lifetime ago...
.
There are things that are still fresh in my memory. Your laugh, the way you smelled, your scratchy whiskers, your attempts at scratching my back like mom did when tucking me in at night, pretending to chase me down the hall when I would drag my feet for bedtime, your contagious smile, the way your nostrils flared when I would tease you, your embracing and warm hugs, your callused hands from working so hard, the way you cleared your throat when you were nervous, anxious, or agitated...and the fact that it drove mom nuts, the way you would “try” to hide your giddiness when we went to Disneyland, all those times you would let me sit and watch you edit videos for work. .
And yet, more memories of you continue to be fading too fast. .
In honor of you today, I preserved your handwriting in wood signs for our family. Something that we can all remember you by daily. .
Miss you always, Dad.

“Don’t look back, you’re not going that way.” THE TIME HAS BEGUN. You guys have loved my business more than these two hands of mine could handle. So I brought in some help and hired a manufacturer. Wait, what?
.
.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? Well, first and foremost, my art will still be my art. All signs will remain handlettered by me and (with my most recent addition) laser cut 3D. Both options are now available on my site. .
.
IT ALSO MEANS... LOWER PRICES, no more waits for restocks, lighter weight quality signs, faster production time, and MORE TO CHOOSE FROM. .
.
MY HEART IS SO FULL! I can’t even begin to describe the weight off my shoulders to not have to be in my garage all the time. I can focus more on my kids and making even more incredible things for you all. Here’s to the next phase in my business! ❤️
Next week marks 10 years since I lost my dad to cancer.
To be able to create a piece of remembrance from him tugs at my heartstrings more than words can even describe.
I’m so thrilled to announce that I am now offering this opportunity for custom handwritten notes. Let me turn your loved one’s note into a piece of art for you to treasure for years to come.
Listing is now live on my website.
