What a fight.
Anyone who knows me, knows I’ve never been @thenotoriousmma biggest fan, going back to the @cagewarriors days we’ve never got on, Tonight he suffered a loss to one of the most feared competitors in MMA history in @khabib_nurmagomedov
To do what Conor has done over the past few years is truly incredible, but tonight in my eyes Conor impressed me more than any of his knock out victories, coming back to the @ufc and competing against a man like Khabib the way he did I feel was phenomenal, I know he lost, I know he got dropped, I know he tapped to a neck crank, I know he got controlled on the ground, but if you understand the absolute dominance Khabib has inflicted inside the cage to people in his career you have to applaud the mindset of a competitor like Conor, I think it’s the best anyone has looked against Khabib and I think it’s one of the best versions of Conor we’ve ever seen. Truly impressed, it’s extremely sad to see it end the way it did especially with so many eyes on the sport, despite that incident and the awful actions during the bus attack I just wanted to show my appreciation towards these two competitors. Thank you
