This lovely simple tool is effective for dividing big group of participants into smaller groups, each chip cobination is a full robot image, i give each person one chip then call a rule such as all similar colors together as a group, then for next combination i call for another rule such as all similar parts together, so in easy step i formed another group and give them a different task. Emotions Mat .. can be used for multiple purposes, I usually use it for EQ programs , today i used it as end of session feelings check, asked questions like what was your feeling when you came to the class yesterday? Followed by how do you feel now? A quick check with a (why) question to see the main learning outcomes.
