Thanks for your words of encouragement on my last wobble post! I’ve bolstered my resolve and am back to it feeling more energised (sidenote: having disturbing dreams though!) Took a social media break at the weekend to absorb myself in family time and get stuck into the garden - bliss! Dens and Lego featured heavily. I love creative play more than my three year old, but the clean up . - *wobble alert* On the flip side - For the first time EVER I considered shutting down Sass and giving it all up. I’ve been feeling despondent and fed up. Building a business around family and a full time job, in a busy indie market, is exhausting work. Progress is slow, and there are frequent patches of tumbleweed. There is a great supportive small biz community, however it can also be a fickle world. I can’t manage more than what I’m currently doing, it’s not enough, and even then I’m sacrificing (hence the wobble!). I average a sale a week, every one of which I’m so proud and totally thrilled. Is it worth the sacrifice? ‍♀️ I love connecting with someone who enjoys a creation that’s come from within my brain, brought to life with my hands.
