Once upon a time in China
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
This time three years ago, I took my first trip to China. My friend @tysontravel and I explored the Shaanxi region where we visited the Terracotta Army in Xian and hiked the ”world’s deadliest trail” at Mt Huashan. We also timed our trip to experience the #MidAutumnFestival, one of the most important Chinese festivals, where we celebrated under a full moon and ate our weight in delicious mooncakes (a type of pastry with a golden crust typically filled with red bean or lotus paste). For anyone planning to travel to China, I’ve compiled a list of my top tips for your first trip to the region along with a video that Tyson and I filmed. Check it out!— LINK IN BIO ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

The Terracotta Army, Lintong District, Shaanxi, China.
The terracotta Army consists of about 8,000 warriors, 100 horses and 18 war chariots. This army was to serve symbolically in the afterlife the first Chinese emperor Qin Shi Huang (260-210 BC). The statues were found in a secondary complex of the mausoleum of the first emperor, but the burial chamber is at very deep levels and has not yet been excavated. The mausoleum was identified in 1974, thanks to the fortuitous discovery of a farmer. Previously the gigantic burial was believed to have disappeared.

[BIANG BIANG 'BEEF‘ NOODLES]

Biang Biang ‘Beef’ Noodles

My first time in this 3,000-year-old city. Xian, China. Many nice places I skipped, I didn’t had time to see the landmark of Xian such as, The Terracotta Warriors Museum is the main attraction in Xian and Ancient City Walls. Maybe next time i’ll be back and visit to these places.
I only went to The Giant Wild Goose Pagoda
